Our Organisation
As the Australian Government's flagship financing agency in the north, the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) is dedicated to delivering economic and social growth.
About us
The Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) is a Commonwealth Government development financier investing for impact across northern Australia. We provide finance to support projects that deliver public benefit for the north, creating jobs, economic growth, opportunities for local suppliers and support First Nations outcomes.
We encourage private sector investment in resources, agriculture, energy, transport, social infrastructure and many other industries. We help grow economies and improve liveability across far north Queensland, the Northern Territory, northern Western Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories.
NAIF Board
We are governed by an independent Board that have a wealth of knowledge in a range of sectors, including infrastructure, government, finance, construction and law across northern Australia.
The Board is responsible for making Investment Decisions, within the scope of the NAIF Act and Investment Mandate. The NAIF Board considers each project on its own merits and tailors the terms and conditions of the finance to suit the needs and risks of the project.
